About the ClientOur client is an international organization operating large-scale, business-critical systems in a microservices architecture. You will join a highly skilled team responsible for supporting, maintaining, and further developing production-grade services that power key operational processes. The role combines backend development (Java), frontend understanding, strong production ownership, and close collaboration with cross-functional technical leaders.
What you will do• Support, maintain, and further develop production systems delivered by the development team, ensuring stability and continuity.
• Monitor production services (technical & business metrics), respond to alerts, perform troubleshooting, and resolve incidents.
• Introduce improvements that enhance production resilience: monitoring, error detection, test flow, environments, and SLA assurance.
• Deliver small development changes and continue enhancements to already deployed microservices.
• Update and improve technical documentation following production changes.
• Act as a Quality Gate – verifying code quality, documentation completeness, regression readiness, and ensuring business metrics are in place.
• 5+ years of experience in backend development (Java + Spring ecosystem), with additional frontend experience (Angular/TypeScript) considered beneficial.
• Strong experience supporting and maintaining microservices in production, including incident handling, troubleshooting, and monitoring.
• Deep understanding of monitoring tools, alerting configuration, service observability, and root-cause analysis.
• Practical knowledge of Git/GitLab, CI/CD, SDLC, change management, IT security, and production processes.
• Ability to perform code reviews, validate technical documentation, and ensure production-readiness of delivered solutions.
• Experience improving processes, optimizing BAU operations, and participating in hiring/building technical teams.
• Business maturity, ownership, strong communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with technical leaders across teams.
• Higher education degree and good command of English (spoken & written).
