**What does the job involve?**
Baltyk 2 and Baltyk 3 Offshore Wind Farm projects consist of 2 x 50 turbines, 2 OSS and 2 ONS with total capacity up to 1,5GW. The wind farms are located respectively 37km and 22km north from the Polish coastline. During the operations phase, maintenance of the wind farms will be conducted from our new operations and maintenance (O&M) base in Leba, with daily shifts onboard Crew Transfer Vessels (CTV's). The O&M base will include a warehouse, quay, Central Control Room, offices and supporting infrastructure, all of which will be purpose built. In the interim, during the construction of the base, the position will be based out of our Gdansk office.
Operational and Maintenance within Renewables is responsible for life-time operation of offshore wind assets. For our offshore wind operation base in Leba (north of Poland) we are looking for an experienced offshore technician, with deep understanding of wind turbines technology (especially Direct Drive) and MV/HV substation equipment, with an operational and maintenance background. It's expected that this individual will possess comprehensive knowledge of offshore wind farm elements such as; electrical apparatus, cables, subsea structures and other BoP. You will be required to use a variety of service tools that include; hand tools, meters, tensioners and more. You will become a member of team of professionals responsible for operation and maintenance of Baltyk 2 and 3 offshore wind farms.
The Offshore Technician is responsible for the servicing of wind turbines and associated infrastructure through corrective maintenance works. During the construction and installation stage you shall aid the construction and commissioning team. You will provide the technical expertise and assistance for the relevant disciplines and contribute to safe and efficient operations. You will be part of a hybrid competence centre with team members?located in Leba, Gdansk, Warsaw, UK and Norway.
**What will my tasks be?**
Within this position, your key tasks will be to:
+ Workingin accordance withall H&S procedures.
+ Operation, maintenance, fault finding and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems associated with high and low voltage equipment.
+ Detailed reporting of all worksinaccordance withEquinor procedures.
+ Long term perspective of operation and maintenance of the assets.
+ Constantlyacquiringdetailed technical knowledge.
+ Cooperate with turbine supplier team.
+ Develop maintenance strategies, conduct risk assessments, andoptimizemaintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
+ Identifyand assess operational risks associated with facilities, equipment, tools, and systems.
+ Work closely with operations groups to schedule and coordinate equipment/plant downtimes for maintenance activities. Ensure effective communication and coordination to minimize production disruptions.

+ At least3years of hands-on experience in WTG operation and maintenance, preferably offshore.
+ Ability to read and understand technical documentation including electrical and hydraulic diagrams, mechanicaldrawingsand manuals.
+ Adherencetohigh standard of electrical safety rules.
+ Be or became authorised to operate HV equipment (SEP) as well asoperateand maintain UDT equipment.
+ Hold (or ability to pass)requiredmedical and offshore safety training.
+ Strong collaboration skills and creative approach to problem solving.
+ Proactive and open minded to furthering knowledge and experience base.
+ Fluency in written and verbal Polish and advancedEnglish. ??
+ Capability to travel internationally during the construction phase,followedby an ability to work on a shift rotation when operational.
**Please note that Leba is the service base for this role so travel to the asset will be from here and you will be expected to stay in Leba during rotation. Accommodation will be provided by Equinor.**
